Fiona James Race Driver & Founder of Walero becomes SEF Ambassador

SEF are proud to announce Fi James has joined SEF as an Ambassador. Fi started racing late in her life, she has successfully rose through the club racing ranks such as Brit-sports, Brit-Car then moving onto GT Cup, Dutch Supercar and Prototype challenge. Driving and racing such cars as Radicals, Ginetta’s, Lamborghinis and the awesome Praga R1 along the way, she is now driving in the European GT4 championship with Academy Motorsport.

In 2015, Fiona founded motorsports race wear business, Walero, obsessed with driver safety, Fiona set about designing the World’s first and only FR racing underwear that actively regulates the driver’s body temperature, reducing the damaging and dangerous effects of heat stress and fatigue while racing. Fiona says ‘Motorsport is inherently dangerous. There have been many improvements to car safety & driver protective wear over the last few decades, however there is still a lot which can be done.
