SEF: What’s your favourite circuit and why?
OW: My favourite circuit; oh a hard one! There are so many nice ones but Spa is probably the ultimate - high downforce and a range of amazing corners set in the undulating woods. I love Macau also as a street track and some of the USA tracks when I did Indy where great.

SEF: What do think about motorsport safety? Do you feel it’s too strict with aspects like run offs for instance or should more be being done?
OW: I think its right to constantly question safety and see where we can improve. I am up for trying anything. With the Halo if it works, great - but we need to be proactive and if after the first few races it just isn't working, we need to look elsewhere for the same safety benefit. Having seen Josef Newgarden and Connor Daly experience such a heavy crash a couple weeks ago and Josef to come out and win the race in Iowa last weekend just shows how safe we are getting!
 
SEF: Your best ever race; where and when was it?
OW: My best ever race weekend was probably Magny-Cours in F3. After JEV (Jean-Eric Vergne) had beaten me in both races at Oulton Park (my home track) and myself coming 2nd, we went to France where I managed to win both races and take the championship lead on a track I had never seen in my life!
 
SEF: Your motorsport hero?
OW: Probably the usual, Senna! Boring now but true.
 
SEF: What is the best race car you have ever driven in a race, and again, where and when?
OW: Nothing really beats a World Series 3.5 in terms of feel over 1 lap - DRS, real engine sound and more cornering speed than an F1... However, a 4 stint at Le Mans at night in challenging weather is also something to behold and thrive on!
