Porsche Supercup Nick Yelloly Becomes #SEAmbassador

SEF are delighted to announce that Porsche Supercup & Blancpain GT racer Nick Yelloly will join the foundation as a SEF Ambassador.

Nick’s racing career started in 2006 with Karts in the Junior TKM series, he then went onto the Formula Renault UK and he stayed there for 3 seasons racing with Fortec, Hitech Junior Grand prix and Atech Grand Prix scoring points, 3 podiums and 1 win. In 2011 Nick moved up to GP3 series with again Atech Grand Prix with a podium finish, Nick also raced the last 3 rounds of Renault 3.5 series and another podium finish, in 2012 Nick would move back to Renault 3.5 for a full season and reap the benefits with two wins and two 2nd places along with 5th place.

2013 & 2014 would see Nick move back to GP3 for his most successful seasons so far with 8 podiums and a win to finish 6th in the championship in both 2013 & 2014.

2015 Nick stepped up to the GP2 series (Part Season) with Hilmer Motorsport and an F1 test with Team Force India.

In 2016 Nick moved in a totally different direction and moved to Porsche Carrera Cup Germany with Project 1, where he finished 6th in the championship and 2nd in the Rookie rankings. Nick continued his success in the Porsche German one make series in 2017 having 3 wins and 8 podiums finishing 2nd in the championship, this success would lead to outings in the Porsche Supercup championship there he had 2 races and accumulated 23 points finishing 18th overall. 2018 sees Nick continue his success and another season in Supercup but also doing a part season in the Blancpain GT Endurance Series with Rowe racing, we wish Nick well for the 2018 season.

As we go to Press, SEF would like to congratulate Nick winning in the Porsche Supercup at the Monaco GP, the 1st British driver to win since Sean in 2013.
